Transform Montrose into a compelling destination for business.
Colorado Outdoors is a development company. Our primary focus is on the revitalization of the famed Uncompahgre river corridor in Montrose, Colorado. Our goal is to provide the region with three things:
A desirable location for business relocation and commercial enterprise, bringing skilled jobs;
A restored and enhanced river for the benefit of our community;
Quality, workforce housing for local residents.

The Western Slope is a central economic engine for Colorado’s outdoor recreation economy. One of our main strategies is to recruit and expand primary jobs within the outdoor industry to Montrose.

Our architecture team, led by Pinnacle Design, brings decades of award-winning experience in design and master planning.
Comprehensive economic analysis and information procurement are essential to a large development project. Experts in Tax Increment Financing (TIF) and Urban Renewal Authority (URA) law make up our team. Colorado Springs-based economist Mike Anderson of Anderson Analytics is responsible for all detailed reports concerning impacts. Paul Benedetti, one of Colorado’s foremost URA experts, leads our legal team.
